Unlimited Wordle GitHub.io: Rules and Play Guide

Web app

Unlimited Wordle GitHub.io is a five-letter word game: guess the answer in six tries, using tile colors to see which letters and positions match.

How a round works

The instructions ask players to find a five-letter word in six attempts. Each guess must be a valid word, and submitting it changes tile colors to show correct letters and positions.

Read the color feedback

The on-page examples explain three outcomes: a letter may be in the right place, present in another position, or absent from the answer. Use that feedback to narrow down the next guess.

Repeat play and settings

The interface includes an Again action and a Settings area. The page does not document every setting in the accessible snapshot, so check the live controls before assuming a particular word list or difficulty option.

How to use this page

1. Enter a valid five-letter guess. 2. Submit it and inspect each tile's color feedback. 3. Use up to six guesses, then start another round with Again. Frequently asked questions How many guesses do I get? The instructions say players have six attempts. What do the tile colors show? They indicate whether a letter is correctly placed, appears elsewhere, or is not in the answer.
